Internal Wiring

Modems and phones connect to the NBN through a single connection point, usually within the building. If you want to make use of existing ports and cabling, you may also need to contact a registered cabler to make the changes. Internal wiring is not covered by the standard installation of NBN or by the Kindergarten IT Program.
If the kindergarten cannot immediately start using the NBN, we expect the kindergarten to organise internal wiring within 3 months from activation.

After 3 months, the Kindergarten IT Program Coordinator will contact you and discuss which connection should be cancelled (ADSL or NBN).

Phone Service

Kindergartens are required to organise their own phone provider for NBN prior to the copper disconnection date.
