Online TLDS Training - 901

Overview: This training session will provide an introduction to using the Online TLDS platform for new users. During the session you will learn to use the online system to create a TLDS and will be shown how to use the platform, file management, how to upload photographs and scanned documents.

Please note: The face to face training sessions will only cover how to use the online website and will not cover what to write in a transition statement. The Online TLDS platform is intuitive and most early childhood teachers in 2018 found the video and guide sufficient to complete their TLDS.

Duration:3 hours.

Who is the course for? This course is for teachers and educators who have low confidence in using an online platform. For other users, support is available through the use of online tips, user guides and the KITP helpdesk.

Computers are provided during the session, attendees do not need to bring their own equipment.

About the Online Transition Learning and Development Statement (TLDS)

A child's TLDS summarises their abilities as they start school and identifies their individual approaches to learning. It is passed on to the child's future school. Transition learning and development statements are completed online via the Insight assessment platform. This is known as the online TLDS. Refer to our Online TLDS page for more information.

Kindergarten Information Management System (KIM) Introduction - 801

Sessions are hands on and process driven and will use realistic scenarios and activities. A representative of the Department will be available to assist with KIMs questions.

Duration: 3 hours.

Who is the course for? The training is open to kindergarten Directors, teachers, assistants and committee members.

Computers are provided during the session, attendees do not need to bring their own equipment.
