Welcome to the Kindergarten IT Program’s support page for the Online Transition Learning and Development Statement. Kindergarten teachers from both private day care centres and not-for-profit kindergartens are entitled to contact us for technical support relating to the Online TLDS.

The minimum required browser versions for Online TLDS:

Mozilla Firefox 28+
Microsoft Edge 17+

What is my services registered email address?
If you are not sure about what your services email address is, you can find the information on Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority’s website: https://www.acecqa.gov.au/resources/national-registers/services?s=&f%5B0%5D=service_state%3AVIC
If you want to change/update the service email address, you can go to National Quality Agenda IT System’s (NQAITS) website: https://portal.nqaits.gov.au/SignIn?ReturnUrl=%2F
If you are not able to log into the NQAITS portal, we suggest you speak to your service manager or contact NQAITS directly via 1300 307 415 or licensed.childrens.services@education.vic.gov.au.
The time frame for updating a service email address will likely be 24-48hrs.
How often should I save my work? How long is timeout length?
The time out length for the Online TLDS platform is 30 minutes. Please save your work frequently.

Privacy and records
Important note on privacy:
Educators completing Transition Statements, regardless of the format they are using, are required to adhere with all privacy laws regarding the collection and disclosure of personal and health information, which includes the Transition Statement. Refer to Privacy and information sharing for further information.
Can I use the Online TLDS platform as a record keeping tool?
No. The Department of Education and Training has advised that the Online TLDS should not be used as a record keeping tool, and not relied on to meet kindergartens’ document retention obligations. DET has outlined the legislative requirements within the Guide to Information sharing (Page 6).
Each service must adhere to their own policy regarding retention of documents for a child’s record including the completed TLDS.
